Can I have different prices for early bird vs door?
Yes. Create multiple ticket tiers with different prices and availability windows. Set an early bird tier that closes 48 hours before the event and a door-price tier that opens at event time. Customers automatically see the right price based on when they purchase.
How do VIP tables work?
Create a 'VIP Table' tier with its own capacity (e.g., 10 tables), price, and description. Add drink package add-ons at checkout. When guests arrive, door staff scans their QR code and sees table booking details instantly — tier name, add-ons, and party size.
Can door staff only scan, not manage events?
Absolutely. The role system lets you invite staff with the 'Door Staff' role, which only gives access to the QR scanner. They cannot view revenue, edit events, or access any other part of the dashboard. You can have up to 6 scanners running simultaneously.
What if we have no Wi-Fi underground?
The scanner works fully offline. Before the event, door staff connect to Wi-Fi and pre-cache all tickets. From that point, scanning works with zero signal. All scans queue locally and sync automatically when connectivity returns. We built this specifically for underground venues.
How do promoter commissions work?
Each promoter gets a unique tracking link. When a customer buys through that link, the promoter is automatically credited. Commission rates are configurable per promoter — flat fee or percentage. Payouts are tracked in the dashboard and can be exported for payment.
Can I migrate from another ticketing platform?
