Installing TicketWave as a mobile app (PWA)

Install TicketWave on Your Device

TicketWave is a Progressive Web App (PWA). This means you can install it directly from your browser on any phone, tablet, or desktop computer — no App Store or Google Play required.

Why install the app?

  • Instant access — Launch TicketWave from your home screen like any other app.
  • Offline scanning — The QR scanner works without internet. Ticket data syncs to your device so you can scan at venues with poor connectivity.
  • Push-style experience — Runs in its own window, no browser address bar clutter.
  • Always up to date — Unlike native apps, PWAs update automatically. You always have the latest version.

How to install on iPhone / iPad (Safari)

  1. Open ticketwavehq.com in Safari and log in to your dashboard.
  2. Tap the Share button (the square with an arrow pointing up).
  3. Scroll down and tap "Add to Home Screen".
  4. Tap "Add" in the top-right corner.
  5. TicketWave now appears on your home screen as an app icon.

How to install on Android (Chrome)

  1. Open ticketwavehq.com in Chrome and log in to your dashboard.
  2. You may see an "Install app" banner at the bottom — tap "Install".
  3. If no banner appears, tap the three-dot menu in the top-right corner.
  4. Tap "Install app" or "Add to Home screen".
  5. Confirm by tapping "Install".

How to install on Desktop (Chrome / Edge)

  1. Open ticketwavehq.com in Chrome or Edge and log in.
  2. Look for the install icon in the address bar (a monitor with a down arrow).
  3. Click it and confirm "Install".
  4. TicketWave opens in its own window and is pinned to your taskbar/dock.

Troubleshooting

  • No install option? Make sure you are using Safari on iOS or Chrome/Edge on Android and desktop. Firefox does not fully support PWA installation on desktop.
  • Already installed? If you have previously installed the app, the install option may not appear. Check your home screen or app drawer.
  • Offline not working? Open the scanner page at least once while connected to the internet so ticket data can sync to your device.
